Miss MySpace USA* has developed a one-of-a-kind competition that combines the power of each individual models MySpace site with a similar community of extended friends, utilizing our website as a medium for exposure and publicity. This unique combination provides an unprecedented amount of exposure and publicity. Not only do you have access to your network of friends, but you’ll now be connected to a new network of like visitors from around the world; combining each models network into one… here at Miss MySpace USA.
Our unparalleled network may open doors that you never have anticipated, and we’re striving to bring each an every contestant the exposure they desire! Utilizing the power of promotion and marketing through MySpace, our website will be the premiere site for aspiring models looking to gain additional notoriety and exposure.
To vote, everyone will have to register as a TOKEN USER. You will register by clicking the LOGIN button at the top of the site, and you will set your username and password. All token users will receive 20 free tokens upon registration, and then 20 additional tokens each month. If you’d like to purchase additional tokens, you will be able to do so directly within your control panel once logged in.
First and foremost, we look for contestants that represent who we are; a diverse group of aspiring models that come from all walks of life…models that represent class, sophistication, risk, and a temperament for attaining their personal goals. Granted, models within our network may participate in all types of careers (some careers edgier than others), and for that, we again do not discriminate. The goal of our site is simple…to provide all participants the greatest amount of exposure and notoriety by bringing together a like community that are searching for the hottest girls on myspace.
Remember, your profile and pictures represent who you are! And for that, it’s your choice of the style of photography you display. Amateur pictures are perfectly fine (they do not need to be professional). However, we do require that there is no nudity (implied nudity is fine – edgy Maxim style photography), and you can walk as close to the limit as you like! However we strive to maintain a level of classiness that represents our site. Some models aspire to be in Maxim, others aspire to be in Playboy, and others, well, they do whatever they want to do (and we believe in the 1st amendment – freedom of choice). We don’t discriminate in your pursuit, whatever that career may be! We do, however, wish to keep our site open to all parties. So please, no nudity. The pictures are uploaded by a third party (you, the model, or someone else), so please report an abuse to abuse@missmyspaceusa.com. And please, no watermarks of websites on your pictures. Those pictures will be deleted!
Yes, we require that models are 18 years of age or older.
We’ve incorporated a unique section within our site called: PREMIERE MODELS. For only $10 a month, you will be exclusively profiled in this section. By being listed here, you’ll be exclusively promoted as a Premiere Model, with a direct link to your profile! This gives you more direct exposure on our site, and there is a Tab at the top of every page directing visitors to our PREMIERE MODELS section. Distinguish yourself from the crowd, and get listed today!
Within our site, you’ll find a tab at the top of every page that directs you to the TOP 50. Not only will you find the Top 50 for the month, but click on the banner and you’ll also see the all-time TOP 50 vote getters! It’s something to strive for each month…by being in the TOP 50! By visiting this page, you’ll always know how far away you are from breaking into the TOP 50, and you should be extremely pleased if you do ever find yourself recognized within this section! Currently, only 10% of the models will break the TOP 50. Remember, it’s not about winning…it’s about exposure. And all the models in the TOP 50 get the greatest amount of direct exposure!
Each month, the TOP 10 will be listed directly on the right side of our homepage. By breaking into the TOP 10, you will be seen by the world! Your name is profiled on the homepage, with direct links to your profile! If you make it into the TOP 10, you’re in the top 2% of our site!
We feature that TOP 3 models at the bottom of our homepage each month. During the first 7 days of the month, we highlight the previous months winner, the 1st runner up, and the 2nd runner up! On day 8, we will start highlighting the Top 3 vote getters of the month!
We’ve done everything in our capacity to prevent cheaters, hackers, and scammers from circumventing our site! Naturally, where there’s a will, there’s a way, and we cannot guarantee that people won’t cheat. Our engineers have incorporated software that is on the lookout for scammers and haters! We have a system that manually requires the voter to type in a code, and the user can only vote once a day from the same computers (unique IP address). We clearly understand that there are software programs that change the IP address of the same user, and we’ve incorporated an auditing system that monitors this issue. Remember, you can only vote once a day from the same computer (every 24 hours). On the last day of each month, the votes are reset, and everyone starts from scratch again!
Right now, we are a promotional site. This means, we promote the hell out of our winners! And that, in itself, is a major accomplishment – to be recognized as Miss MySpace USA, for a respective month. Winners are listed here, http://www.missmyspaceusa.com/archive.php - and they have the choice of being in our calendar for the following year. Most importantly, the winners of each month have the honor of competing in our annual VOTE-OFF, each January! The VOTE-OFF determines who will be named MISS MYSPACE USA 2008! All previous monthly winners for that respective year, and one wild-card participate in the VOTE-OFF. The wild-card is the individual who garnered the most votes during the year, but never won an individual month. So just because you never won, don’t get discouraged…your hard work throughout the year may pay off, and you may be named the WILD CARD entry!
