As you may know, in November, people decided to try and ambush our successful competition… two of our contestants had votes that came from a computer generated system that changes the IP address, thus allowing multiple daily votes to occur. We’ve uncovered an individual, not associated with the models, that has been padding votes.

It is very easy for us to identify now, and we will audit all votes at the end of each month.

Thank you for your commitment to our competition, and we hope everyone involved will compete with integrity!

We just implemented our new ‘anti-fraud’ voting system which will prevent this from happening in the future.

We apologize if this has caused an issue with our participants, but there are always people out there looking to sabotage a good thing.  Again, we’re auditing votes, and we are on top of the issues. We are not pointing the finger at the model. But rather someone out there trying to affect the outcome of our competition.

January can’t get here soon enough for the monthly winners that will be competing for the first ever crown, Miss MySpace USA 2008! Get prepared for the most amazing month ever!! Not only will January start the New Year for contestants that will compete in our 2009 VOTE-OFF, but it brings all the 2008 winners together to see who will be named Miss MySpace 2008. We’re estimating that the winning model will need to garner at least 15,000 votes (maybe 20,000)….who knows? But you can guarantee that the hype and buzz around our site will be like nothing we’ve ever seen…and that means more exposure for each and every participating model on our site!  

Make sure you get your profiles updated, and have your pictures ready to show off your sophistication and your class! Visitors will be coming from all over the world to cast their votes, and we want each and every model to feel a sense of pride in representing Miss MySpace USA! Remember, models are selected from dozens of daily applicants. We reject 30% of the applicants for a number of reasons, and believe that it’s a privilege to be profiled on our site! That’s why we’re thanking each and every one of you for your dedication to promoting us, and putting our banner up on your MySpace page. Remember, it’s the power of MySpace, and your individual profiles and network that allow us to show you off to the entire world!  

By combing the power of each model, those of you with 20 friends, and those of you with 20,000 friends, each and every network counts the same.
