Send any issues to Admin@MissMySpaceUSA.com - we will email you back if you have any issues with your token deposits! PLEASE NOTE THIS VERY IMPORTANT STATEMENT. After purchasing your tokens on the PAYPAL website, you MUST click RETURN TO THIRDBASE PRODUCTIONS in order for your tokens to be deposited. Please don’t forget, as that is the issue with people getting their tokens.

Also, you must click VOTE to login — that’s the only area where token users can log in! Thanks for your patience! Every vote on the site is legit now!!

Dear Models & Fans of MMU:

We researched every alternative in order to come up with a solution that not only benefits the models, but also provides clear assurances that there will be absolutely no proxy voting or cheating on our site. Granted, other sites claim that their voting systems are legitimate, but we’ve researched this issue extensively.

Granted, we don’t expect some of you to purchase tokens. We understand that clearly, and that some of the fun may be taken out of our contest. But things were getting real ugly, there was too much cheating, and this is the only way to clean it up. We don’t expect to make money on the tokens, as it will be redirected in two places (1) The Models Cash Prize, (2) To cover server costs.

Our revenue comes from advertising, and that helps sustain and support our site. Our primary goal continues to be to simply provide a home where models can promote themselves, their myspace site, and other projects that they are working on. Yes, we know the vote total will come down….but at least it will be certifiably legitimate. Remember, you can buy 10 tokens for only $1.00.

We welcome your comments and concerns. We may adjust the pricing too! We’re simply working out all the kinks. But in the meantime, we hope you understand that we had no choice. Your comments are appreciated!! One final note…for token users: You will have to re-enter your username and password each time you wish to vote. This was the only way, for now, to make sure all votes are counted correctly.

Thank you again for participating!

It’s always unfortunate when we’re forced to act to protect the integrity of the competition. Let us clearly give you the ‘red flags’ that allow us to target models that may be cheating, or possibly circumventing our system. First and foremost, the average model who is competing in the competition receives approximately 75% of their traffic from referrals (these referrals come from bulletins, Miss MySpace USA banners, or other are areas in which the model has posted a link within the myspace community. Of course, we do not measure all the models….we usually focus on those in the Top 10.

The Top 10 models within the competition average 85% referrals from bulletins, banners, or other tracking devices that drive an individual to vote to a specific models gallery. When we measure the Top 10 models, and our tracking finds that the model has dipped below, or significantly below this percentage, we begin to closely monitor the model. We pull all of the votes, all the Ip addresses, and begin to look for common threads, voting by proxy (hidden), and the lack of ‘referring banners or bulletins’ to their profile.

The most recent model that was deleted was receiving only 10% of their votes from referrals (banners, bulletins, etc), and this made serious red flags go up. We noticed this last week, we let everyone know we conducted our audit (as we wanted to see if we continued to see the pattern)….and yes, unfortunately, it got worse…and the voting by proxy exceeded 80% of the actual votes. While we cannot and will not accuse any model of cheating, we reserve the right to delete any model at any time for any reason.

We hate going to this extreme, but it’s our responsibility to protect the integrity of the site. It’s not the first time a model (in the lead) has been deleted, and we are sure it’s not the last. Finally, we require our models to adhere to high ethics when it comes to sportsmanship…and we hope you will continue to do so. Good luck…and keep on voting! We’ll be watching!

Contestants must adhere to the standards set forth within the competition! All direct links must go to the individual contestants MYSPACE URL, and no where else. That’s why it says…MYSPACE URL within the models profiles. It’s imperative that contestants adhere to all rules, and we do not tolerate any circumvention of the rules set forth. Thank you to all contestants who adhere to this policy! (We’ve conducted this competition for the last year, and never had any issues).

There is no warning to contestants, as this is a direct breach to the integrity of our competion. Models can re-upload their profiles, but there can be no direct link to any other site, except their myspace page.

All previous winners, including the Vote-Off winner and Monthlly Winners will not show up in the Monthy Rankings! That inlcudes the Top 10 on the homepage, and the TOP 50 Monthly Rankings!

It’s a new month, a fresh start….so go out and expose yourself to the world! Let’s have a positive month…and support each other! Thanks again for a great January! (and a very competitive one too)

Miss MySpace USA would like to thank all the contestants for staying involved this month, with the Vote-Off certainly distracting us from a ‘normal month’! We accept the fact, regretfully, that the competition was very heated for all….the models, the fans, and even the staff here at Miss MySpace!

We’d like to thank all the models who worked their butts off in January, and were on the front lines of a heated competion. The creation of this competition was not about winning, it was not created to be a cut-throat competition, but about promoting each and every model within this exclusive community…a community that has the same vision!

You’re a part of a growing network of individuals who have the same dreams, goals, and aspirations….looking for your big break or the ability to get the exposure you deserve! For the record, we only accept about 65% of the models that apply…and we’re trying to make this the home for the up-and-coming model who believes in the power of the community….the ability for one to promote all! Simply by participating (not winning), you’re being viewed by thousands and thousands who’ve taken great interest in our competition.

In the end, we thank all of you for hanging in there during the Vote-Off, especially the models at the top who were really feeling the pressure! I know that they’ve both been through a lot this month. One model is not bigger than this competition – whether they receive 30,000 votes or 30 votes! That’s the position our staff is taking — we’re in this community together, with each an every one of you….and thank you for your commitment to making this amazing competition better in 2008! We’ll do our best to do so too! Congrats to both Christina, Heather, and Adele for accumulating over 50,000 votes!

We’ve hired an outside contractor to audit the Vote-Off, and it will take 7 days to certify the results. Our engineers are working with an outside team to check for any voting anomalies, and we’ve been assured that we will be able to verify any votes (if any) that were submitted by either a computer generated program, or a proxy program that changes IP addresses. Our number one goal is to protect the integrity of the competition, and we’re also aware of other issues that we are researching, including the unfortunate MySpace deletion of Heather Elizabeth. (She has been reinstated, but we’re working on full resolution with this issue).

Our team wants to thank all of you for participating, and remember, it’s not about winning, but it’s about being associated with an amazing website that’s primary objective is to promote you… the model. One final note — we would like all of you to check your direct link to your MySpace site that’s showing up in your MMU profile. If you want people to contact you through your MySpace site (from our site), please go into your Control Panel and make sure the direct link is correct. That’s the only way people can contact you!

Thank you again for a great month, and we look forward to putting the heat of the vote-off behind us, and moving forward with a tremendous 2008!

Sincerely,
MMU Admin

PS: With the Super Bowl in one week, we will be changing the main banner at the top of our home page to have our models showing off their football spirit. Send us your sexy, classy photos that are football related and you might be selected to be in the banner!

Listen up photographers! Trust us, you’ll want to be selected to be listed on our site! Qualified photographers will be profiled on our homepage, and then featured within our blog, as well as a new section in development for the end of this year — Premeire Photographers!

We’re listing 5 photographers from each state…that’s right, only 5 photographers from each state will be listed within our Premiere Photographers section, with the exception of New York, Florida, and California (10 max listed in those states due to their size and metropolitan area). Email us details about getting listed, and you’ll now be profiled on the fastest growing modeling site in the USA! We’re quickly on our way to 1,000 models…an amazing feet in just 8 short months of existence. Be one of the first to be recognized as a Premiere Photographer, within our website! Email us for details at inquiry@missmyspaceusa.com!
