Winning the crown for Miss MySpace USA, February 2009, made me feel wonderful inside! I had so many people supporting me. The emails from my supporters, friends and fans were enormous! Winning with over 36,000 votes was a huge success for me.
I considered myself a little different than the other models on the Miss MySpace USA site as most of my pictures were head shots versus the many other beautiful bikini-clad models. I wanted to promote myself in a different way. Thinking it was a long shot for even being in the contest, let alone winning the month of February, was more than an overwhelming joyous feeling.
Since winning the Miss MySpace USA February 2009 crown, I have been asked by many photographers to do work with them. People have stopped me and asked me for my autograph. I was invited to the Playboy Mansion twice!
I believe the Miss MySpace USA contest is a great opportunity to get a lot of exposure from photographers, casting directors and people in the industry. It's one of the biggest online beauty contests out there that will help you get noticed!
